Component Analyst

POSITION OVERVIEW: The Component Analyst (CA) will be assigned to a pre-selected customer base within, under the management of a Team Leader. The ideal candidate must be able to work as part of a team in a fast paced environment and possess excellent data manipulation skills, in particular, but not limited to Excel. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Review a request for quote to determine the best way of processing the Bill of Material (BOM) and understand the instructions given. Examine the Raw Bill of Material to ensure that pertinent information and data is included. Identify potential problems that may occur in the upload/download of the data and suggest solutions. Follow the prescribed procedures for uploading a quote to ensure that all correct lines are uploaded. Cleansing and building the part number based on the part description.
