Cloud Platform Engineer

Job Description
A client in Spring, TX is looking for a Cloud Platform Standards Engineer to design, author, and operationalize Enterprise Architecture (EA) cloud standards through reference ('golden') architectures and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC).
This person will be defining enterprise standards, producing architecture diagrams, and translating them into reusable Terraform/Bicep modules and automated pipelines. This person will be collaborating closely with Application Architecture and Infrastructure teams to ensure solutions are designed and implemented in alignment with enterprise standards and approved golden architectures. They will be hands-on engineering where standards are only complete when documented, diagrammed, and implemented as reusable code.
