Cloud Database Engineer

The Cloud Operations Lead will provide day to day support to all AIA business units using AIA’s Azure public cloud platform including but not limited to incident-, change-, request- and problem management. This role focuses on leveraging azure services administration tasks and optimize cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.

Responsibilities

• Manage and administer the Microsoft Azure cloud environment, including provisioning, configuration, performance monitoring, policy governance.
• Analyze existing operational standards, processes, and/or governance to identify and implement improvements.
• Support cloud adoption of applications as they are being transformed and/or modernized.
• Work as part of 24/7 shift roster to implement changes and requests and resolve incidents.
