Clinical Flow Cytometry Specialist

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Specialist, Clinical Flow Cytometry.

In this role, the successful candidate assists Pathologists with creating draft reports, compiling and analyzing data from flow cytometers with relevant clinical information and diagnostic templates. Works with pathologists to finalize report templates.

Job Responsibilities:

Reviews the clinical rationale for the flow cytometry order, which may include reviewing prior pathology specimen reports. 

Selects and places appropriate flow cytometry panel orders in Epic Beaker. 

In case of leukemia/lymphoma/myeloma follow up, assesses the need for custom antibody combinations (custom tube) and/or MRD assay. This may include reviewing the abnormal immunophenotype at diagnosis as described on the diagnostic flow cytometry report.
