Position Summary:The Chief Maintenance Engineer is responsible for overseeing all engineering and maintenance operations of the hotel to ensure a safe, functional, and aesthetically pleasing environment for guests and associates. This leadership role manages preventive maintenance programs, supervises the engineering team, ensures compliance with safety standards, and supports the hotel’s luxury brand standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Direct, supervise, and train the Engineering Department staff.
Develop and execute preventive maintenance programs for all building systems, guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal safety regulations, including fire life safety, OSHA, and brand standards.
