The Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS) is an active member of the Substance Use
Program and provides peer support services to participants with Substance Use and
serious/chronic mental illness. Under the guidance of the supervisor of the Substance Use
Disorder (SUD) program, the CPRS will function as a role model to peers; exhibiting
competency in personal recovery and use of coping skills; serve as participants’ advocate. Will
provide information and peer support for participants in Oriented Healthcare’s outpatient SUD
