Responsibilities Overview
- The Cargo Operator will exhibit a high standard of safety behavior and will ensure that all aspects of Cargo and Cargo Utility operations are carried out safely and effectively.
- The Cargo Operator is also responsible for executing maintenance and preservation tasks efficiently and safely to ensure the reliability and longevity of equipment. This role involves performing a variety of maintenance and preservation activities, including but not limited to cleaning, housekeeping, blasting, spraying/painting, isolation and reinstatement, greasing application, and the preservation of topside items like flanges, bolts and valves.
- The cargo operator will demonstrate exemplary safety awareness and technical competence in all aspects of maintenance and preservation work on and around the vessel.
