Care Assistant

What you’ll do

We are seeking a caring and dedicated Complex Care Assistant to support our 20-year-old client as part of a 2:1 care package in her family home.

Our client is a young woman living with drug-resistant epilepsy due to cortical dysplasia, experiencing multiple types of seizures. Your role will be varied and rewarding, involving:

• Personal care
• PEG feeding and medication administration
• Seizure monitoring and management
• Moving and handling
• Suctioning (as required)
• Engaging in sensory play, arts and crafts, story time, and outings
