Buyer

We are looking for an enthusiastic Buyer with a keen eye for value, interest and awareness of trends coupled with a passion and an eye for quality products at competitive rates.

Thesuccessful candidate must preferably have at least 5 years of relevant or comparable buying experience, possess above average analytical and inter-personal skills and must reside in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES

Buying & Category Management

• Identify new brand opportunities, in line with the business and divisional strategies and initiate introduction meetings
• Product range and line development, identify business opportunities for the organisation, propose buying and category plans in line with sales and margin targets
• Monitor market trends, competitors, and customer demand

Commercial Performance

• Review of budget, sales, margins, stock turnover et cetera
