Bridge Engineer – Whangārei

We have an exciting opportunity for a talented Bridge Engineer to join our team in Whangārei. This role offers the chance to contribute to meaningful projects across Northland, working on assessment, strengthening, and delivery of existing bridge structures, and undertaking complex analysis and design for retrofit and refurbishment.

Responsibilities

• Assess and strengthen existing bridge structures, including bridges, culverts, retaining walls, and river protection structures.
• Conduct complex analysis and develop retrofit and strengthening designs.
• Support bridge projects throughout construction, including inspections and construction administration.
• Develop project and client management capability while working with site delivery and asset management teams.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary business to deliver innovative solutions that extend and preserve existing structures.
