Bookkeeper

Description We are looking for a Bookkeeper to join a team in Galveston, Texas on a Contract basis. This position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, accurate, and comfortable handling day-to-day accounting activity in a fast-paced setting. The role will focus on keeping financial records current, processing transactions efficiently, and helping maintain smooth accounting operations across receivables and payables.

Responsibilities:
• Oversee the complete accounts receivable cycle, including preparing invoices, applying incoming payments, and following up on outstanding balances.
• Administer the full accounts payable process by reviewing invoices, coordinating approvals, and arranging timely vendor disbursements.
• Perform routine reconciliations for bank accounts and company credit cards to confirm transaction accuracy.
