Responsibilities

• Surface Preparation: Perform abrasive blasting to clean and prepare steel surfaces for coating application.
  

• Equipment Operation: Safely operate blasting equipment, compressors, and associated tools.
  

• Quality Control: Ensure blasting meets required cleanliness standards (e.g., SA 2.5 or project-specific requirements).
  

• Coating Support: Work closely with painters and coating inspectors to ensure surfaces are ready for protective coatings.
  

• Safety Compliance: Follow offshore HSE standards, PPE requirements, and permit-to-work systems during blasting operations.
  

• Documentation: Record blasting activities, inspection results, ...
