Job Summary:
The VDC Specialist is responsible for the creation and documentation of models, shop drawings, as-built drawings, and other associated design and construction documents.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Create, set-up, manage, and populate design and construction models as necessary to build working views, sheet views, and 3D views for export using Revit or other software.Run internal clash detection tests to assist project team with coordination process.Generate design and construction documentation for structured cabling projects during design, shop drawings, and as-builts phases of a project.Provide VDC/BIM quality assurance by reviewing project BIM standards, execution plans and design drawings for completeness and accuracy.Participate in project VDC coordination meetings: spatial coordination of disciplines, gathering all disciplines BIM models including civil and performing coordination ta...
