Role PurposeThe job holder is responsible for tracking and recording financial transactions, preparing financial statements and supporting in preparation of the management accounts, in a timely manner while working closely with the other departments within the organization. The job holder will also apply and explain rules, regulations, processes and procedures, initiate and prepare routine analysis and/or special reports and correspondence. The job holder may also have managerial responsibilities for a team or individuals to carry out day to day responsibilities. The role is involved in the month close activities and may be involved in the bookkeeping of non insurance GL accounts. The role to support Manager, Accounting in implementing the new processes and procedures and adoption of the new accounting and reporting standards.
