Summary
Operates complex component saws to cut planks, timbers, or boards according to work orders by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
Other duties may be assigned.

Reviews work order to determine cut(s) to be made.

Operate component saw with computer controlled touch screen.

Adjusts saw for required cuts.

Adjusts speed of saw and feed rolls.

Observes automatic feeding of lumber to saw or pushes end of lumber into feed rolls.

Coordinates multiple activities associated with saw operations including picking, staging, stacking and loading.
