Responsibilities

• API Design and Development: Design and develop RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs based on business requirements and technical specifications.
• Documentation & Maintainability: Ensure that APIs are well‑documented, maintainable, and adhere to industry best practices.
• Integration and Collaboration: Collaborate with front‑end developers, backend developers, and other stakeholders to integrate APIs with various systems and applications, ensuring seamless data flow and interaction between different components.
• Performance Optimization: Optimize the performance of APIs to ensure fast response times and efficient data processing, implementing caching, rate limiting, and other performance‑enhancing techniques.
• Security and Compliance: Implement security best practices to protect APIs from threats such as SQL injection, XSS, and CSRF, and maintain compliance with regulations such as HIPAA. ...
