Anesthesia Tech

The Anesthesia Tech is responsible for performing various patient-care, safety, and technical duties to support anesthesia and nursing teams in surgical and procedural areas. The anesthesia technician responds to patient-specific needs including blood, medications, supply and equipment during the surgical procedure. This position performs patient identification procedures to ensure proper delivery of blood products and medications. This position operates surgical equipment under the direction of a licensed provider. The anesthesia tech ensures all ORs and pre/post rooms are adequately stocked with appropriate quantity of supplies and required equipment. The position ensures ORs, procedure and prepost rooms are cleaned and prepared for the next patient to ensure safe and efficient operation.
