The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a civilian instructor for modified E-9A Widget and QF-16 Fighting Falcon aircraft pilots and both full- and subscale drone controllers. Ensures proficiency and currency requirements are met. Maintains and enforces all flying requirements IAW AF and MAJCOM instructions. Responsibilities Instructs airplane pilots/drone controllers on aircraft operations. Assesses pilots to determine currency and proficiency. Assists in planning and oversight in addition to other duties related to flying and accomplishment of the unit operational and training mission.
