Accounting Specialist

Description We are looking for an Accounting Specialist to join a growing organization in Grand Rapids, Michigan in a Contract to Permanent capacity. This position offers the opportunity to support core accounting operations in a busy environment while building long-term potential with the team. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in payables, receivables, and account reconciliation, along with the ability to maintain accuracy across day-to-day financial activity.

Responsibilities:
• Handle the full accounts payable cycle by reviewing invoices, assigning proper coding, and preparing payments for processing
• Oversee accounts receivable tasks, including generating customer invoices, posting incoming payments, and following up on outstanding balances
