Job title: Accountant Location: On-site at Mine (North-west province , 30 mins from Sun city, 60 mins from Rustenburg) Salary: Market related, dependent on experience and qualifications Vacancy type: Full-time Duties: Process and capture daily accounting transactions (invoices, payments, petty cash) Maintain general ledger, supplier, and customer records Prepare monthly management accounts and journal entries (accruals, prepayments) Perform bank, supplier, and payroll reconciliations Use ERP/accounting systems (Zoho Books, Sage Pastel, etc.) Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Prepare cash flow and working capital reports Handle VAT, PAYE, UIF, SDL, and other statutory submissions to SARS Ensure compliance with South African accounting and tax regulations Liaise with auditors and support annual audit processes Raise invoices, purchase/work orders, and assist with payroll processing Reconcile emplo...
