2026-2027 Child Development Technician I

Position Summary:

Child development technician provides direct care to infants and toddlers attending OKCPS Early Childcare Program. This individual maintains all requirements associated with Department of Human Services (DHS) licensing and/or grant requirements. The position must maintain quality relationships with parents and contribute to the overall success of the Early Childcare/ Parent Education Program. This position may be grant funded; continuation of employment is dependent upon grant funding and renewal. Essential Duties:

Works cooperatively with participants to meet all Oklahoma licensing requirements and Early Head Start Standards as applies.

Implements curriculum in the classroom to meet the needs of the child(ren)

Maintains daily records for each child in the center (attendance, behavior and growth observations) and center activities.
