Duties and Tasks:Tutorsassist students in becoming more successful and independent learners. Peer tutors help to integrate effective learning and study strategies for their assigned students, while at the same time clarifying and/or reinforcing course content, assignments and material.Embedded tutorshave a class assignment and work directly with the instructor and class members, in addition to serving as a CAVE tutor.
Provide individualized content and skill-development tutoring to students.
Keep accurate records of each tutoring session using Accudemia software.
Successfully complete CRLA Level 1 Tutor Training requirements (provided).
Have thorough knowledge of college services, support, and resources.
Supplemental Instruction leadersfacilitate regularly scheduled, out-of-class review sessions for targeted courses. The sessions allow students to review notes, discuss rea...
