Cardiothoracic Surgeon

Overview

The Consultant Cardiothoracic Surgeon will provide comprehensive surgical management for adult cardiac and thoracic conditions including ischemic heart disease, valvular heart disease, thoracic tumors, aortic pathologies, and complex cardiothoracic disorders. Perform advanced procedures such as coronary artery bypass surgery, valve reconstruction and replacement, thoracic resections, minimally invasive cardiothoracic procedures, and complex open‑heart surgeries while ensuring optimal perioperative outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Manage the complete surgical pathway, including pre‑operative risk assessment, operative planning, post‑operative critical care coordination, and long‑term follow‑up of surgical patients.
• Collaborate with interventional cardiologists, cardiac anesthesiologists, intensivists, pulmonologists, perfusionists, and multidisciplinary cardiac teams to ensure evidence‑based, patient‑centered care.
