The Dell Medical School in conjunction with Ascension Texas, is seeking an Advanced Practice Nurse or Physician Assistant to be part of the Institute for Cardiovascular Health. This individual will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to serve the growing need of the regional adult population to deliver world class adult cardiovascular and thoracic surgical care.PurposeIn collaboration with supervising physicians, provides for the expansion of individualized healthcare services by diagnosing and treating adult cardiovascular and thoracic conditions. The Advanced Practice Professional (APP) will primarily staff the ICU but will also cross cover the telemetry ward providing patient-centered, competent, compassionate, and professional care in both out-patient and in-patient settings.
