As a Switchperson with Cando, you will carry out rail switching tasks at customer sites with an emphasis on safety and teamwork. Your responsibilities include conducting job briefings, operating switching equipment, and ensuring compliance with rail regulations. Completing daily inspections and paperwork is also essential to this role.

Key Responsibilities:
• Safely operate locomotives and rail switching equipment
• Adhere to all switching rules and regulations
• Conduct thorough inspections of locomotives daily
• Maintain logs and reports essential for operations
• Deliver excellent customer service and promote Cando’s image

Requirements:
• Must have Grade 12 or GED
• Prior industrial workplace experience is an asset
