Candidate Attorney

Our client is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and client-facing Candidate Attorney to serve their articles of clerkship at a dynamic boutique commercial litigation firm in Johannesburg! Location: Constantia Kloof, Johannesburg Salary: R8,000 R10,000 per month (in line with LPC stipend guidelines) Contract: 2-Year Articles Essential Qualifications: LLB Degree (completed or awaiting graduation) Articles to be registered with the LPC Proficient in both English and Afrikaans (ESSENTIAL operational requirement) Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Comfortable working in a Mac environment Key Responsibilities: Litigation Support: Assist attorneys with preparation and management of litigation matters across Magistrates' and High Court Draft legal documents, pleadings, notices and correspondence under supervision Attend court, consultations and meetings as required Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda Client & Administrative: Liaise with clients, sheriffs, correspondent attorneys...
