(CAN) Dairy / Frozen Department Manager

Position Summary

A Dairy/Frozen Department Manager co-ordinates the merchandise and activities of Associates in a department(s) of a Wal-Mart store through modular integrity, perpetual inventory, merchandise management, and customer service, while maintaining exemplary customer service by adhering to the Basic Beliefs and values of Wal-Mart.

What you’ll do

• Assist the Management Team with the supervision of the designated Department, including mentoring, teaching, assigning duties, recognizing, supervising and communicating with Hourly Associates appropriately and efficiently.
• Order merchandise on time.
• Maintain zero pricing errors (i.e. Scanning Credibility Program).
• Adhere to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, and expiration dates.
