Calgary Base Pilot

Alpine Helicopters is actively looking for an experienced full-time Pilot based in Calgary, Alberta who holds endorsements for flying the Bell 407 and Bell 206L3 helicopters, or their comparable equivalents. The primary responsibility of this base pilot will involve performing wire-based flights in the local area with Alberta’s largest regulated electricity transmission company. The nature of this work often allows for increased work/life balance with the aircraft returning to the Calgary base at the end of most days.

Summary The Calgary Base Pilot provides assistance to the Base Manager to ensure the success of the Calgary Base operations. The Base Pilot is responsible for conducting base flight operations safely and in accordance with the Company Operations Manual, Rotorcraft Flight Manual and Transport Canada regulations, while also supporting the Base Manager with the coordination of customer quotes and aircraft scheduling.
