CAD Draughtsman

Role Overview

You will be responsible for creating, modifying, and managing 3D/2D CAD models using SolidWorks, with a specific focus on high‑precision mechanical components, and jet engines. A key part of this role is performing tolerance stack‑up analysis to ensure manufacturability, assembly fit, and reliable product performance, owning the CAD for large assemblies, managing and tracking changes, and creating drawings.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed 3D models and fully‑defined 2D drawings using SolidWorks.
• Execute tolerance stack‑up analyses (linear, worst‑case, RSS) to validate designs and ensure robust assembly.
• Apply GD&T (ASME Y14.5) principles to drawings.
• Create BOMs, drawing packages, and revision‑controlled documentation.
