CAD Designer/Modeler

Expertise and Functions

+ Develop detailed 2D production drawings and 3D solid/surface models using specialized software including:

+ Review of part/component/system technical data for completeness and accuracy

+ Processes definition & development of documentation

+ Identification of tooling, jig and fixture requirements & support/input/review of engineering designs

+ Support CNC file development, test and implementation as needed

+ Identify design interferences, manufacturing concerns and drawing discrepancies

+ Provide support to Project Manager and Engineering personnel in the areas of scheduling, data gathering/limited analyses preparation of technical/project reports, test reports, drawings, specifications and associated documentation

+ Collaborate with engineers, project managers, manufacturing team members to understand specifications and troubleshoot potential design or compatibility issues
