Cable Technician (Data Center) – Contract-to-Hire
On-site (Phoenix Metro Area)

Pay: $20–$24/hr + OT (1.5x)
Schedule: 10–12 hour shifts (50–60 hours/week typical)
Overview
TEKsystems is seeking motivated Cable Technicians to support a large-scale data center installation project. This is a long-term, contract-to-hire opportunity on a multi-year project, offering steady work, hands-on training, and strong career growth in the structured cabling industry.
What You’ll Do
+ Install and route CAT5/CAT6 low-voltage cabling in a data center environment
+ Pull and route cable through J-hooks, cable trays, walls, and ceilings
+ Perform cable dressing, labeling, and organization prior to termination
+ Assist with building telecom closets (racks, patch panels, backboards)
+ Terminate and install low-voltage devices and network infrastructure
+ Support rack & stack activities and equipment installation
