Cable Technician I

We are hiring an experienced Cable Technician I to install, test, and troubleshoot structured cabling systems. This role is ideal for a motivated technician who wants steady work, growth opportunities, and a strong team environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Install and terminate CAT3 and CAT5 cabling, jacks, faceplates, and surface-mount boxes
  • Build and organize telecom closets including racks, patch panels, fiber hardware, and grounding
  • Perform cable testing and troubleshooting using toners, meters, and continuity tools
  • Identify active voice and data circuits
  • Complete all required documentation accurately and on time
  • Follow all safety and quality standards
