Cable Project Engineer Location: Hybrid – Glasgow, Perth, or Aberdeen
Contract Length: 6 months (initial)
Hours: Full-time
Pay Rate: £850 per day (PAYE/Umbrella)
Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Cable Project Engineer to join its multi-disciplinary engineering team. This role will be key in supporting the development and delivery of a growing portfolio of transmission projects, contributing to the organisation’s Net Zero objectives .
The successful candidate will provide specialist cable engineering expertise across the full project lifecycle, ensuring high-quality, safe, and compliant technical solutions for underground cable systems.
Engineering & Design
Provide cable engineering support across multiple projects, including:
Producing and reviewing outline cable system designs during development phases
Assessing technology options and underground cable routing selection
Performing current rating calculations using CYMCAP soft...
