TEKsystems is looking for an Inside/Outside Cable Plant Technician for a contract to hire opportunity with one of our clients. You will be doing comprehensive installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all copper and fiber optic cable infrastructure within the organization. This position requires proficiency in both indoor environments (such as telecommunications rooms, data centers, and office buildings) and outdoor settings (including utility poles, underground systems, and construction sites). The technician ensures reliable communication and data transmission services across various network configurations, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
This role is onsite everyday in Dugway Utah.
Top Skills required:
1. Fiber and Copper installation experience
2. Active Secret clearance
3. Prior to starting needs CFOT (Certified Optic Technician) and CI (Certified Installer) for copper and fiber.
