C Lineman - Underground

Position Summary

The Class C Lineman Underground is a safety focused professional with the ability to construct and repair electrical underground distribution systems. You will work on energized and de ‑ energized powerlines and may be required to travel to different job sites, including out ‑ of ‑ state locations, as operational and customer needs dictate. You will report to the Foreman.
Essential Functions
+ Perform new construction, maintain and repair energized and de ‑ energized underground distribution systems while putting safety first.
+ Help install and repair underground facilities, underground conductors, including trouble shooting and fault locating on primary and secondary systems.
+ Willing and able to learn switching and tagging procedures, grounding and induced voltage on energized and de-energized lines.
+ Work in confined spaces and in proximity to energized equipment with direct supervision.
