Summary: Responsible for obtaining Used-Car inventory through appraisals and by attending off-site auctions. The Buyer is responsible for making financially sound purchasing decisions for the Company.
Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has direct supervisory responsibilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
+ Coordinates wholesale auctions
+ Attends off-site auctions
+ Appraises vehicles at the store for trade-in
+ Negotiate pricing
+ Works with Technicians to understand vehicle condition and the subsequent costs involved in reconditioning
+ Contributes to improving sales and operations.
+ Understands the needs for department inventory.
+ Interacts with customers to ensure customer satisfaction.
