Job Description
The Buyer plays a key role in supporting aftermarket operations by developing and executing sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and optimizing costs and lead times. This role serves as a critical liaison between the aftermarket team, value-added kit team, and procurement group to ensure reliable supply, competitive pricing, and strong vendor performance within a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
+ Develop and execute sourcing strategies tailored to the needs of the aftermarket and value-added kit (VAK) business.
+ Serve as the primary liaison between the aftermarket team, value-added kit team, and procurement group to align on vendor base, pricing, and lead times.
+ Solicit and evaluate supplier quotations that meet agreed turnaround times and quality requirements for aftermarket and VAK needs.
