Buyer (San Agustín del Guadalix)

As Buyer, you will conduct the purchase of all materials required for manufacturing (tools, machinery, supplies, etc.) as well as raw materials required in the SanAgustin Plant.

Responsibilities

• Contact suppliers for quotation requests, cost comparison, studies, discount negotiation, technical aspects and delivery terms, for goods that are not categorized.
• Prepare and follow up purchase orders.
• Forward updated specifications to suppliers.
• Make raw material purchases according to SAP material requisitions, scheduling supplies to minimize inventories without stopping production.
• Maintain close communication with the SNP planners to be aware of planning changes and notice any raw‑material shortage to avoid production disruptions.
• Keep the SAP system updated with machinery, tools and raw‑material supplier data.
• Organize and control shipments of equipment and spare parts for repair and return to the Plant.
