Buyer (Procurement)

Procurement Buyer is responsible in canvassing, provision and acquisition of all purchase requests under category handled, ensures all purchases are covered by a properly approved document through Purchase Order and any other related document.



Responsibilities:



*Performs canvassing of items/services needed for quotation or acquisition

*Negotiates with suppliers to attain best fair market price, quality, and availability of items

*Encodes all canvass made in the prescribed monitoring form

*Records all negotiated cost savings in the prescribed monitory form

*Analyzes supplier's bids/quotation based on significant procurement factors

*Prepares purchase order form to be awarded to the best supplier for the specific purchase request

*Maintains records of all transactions made thru PO to the prescribed monitoring sheet
