**Essential Functions:**

+ Establish and maintain a mutual respect of suppliers and peers.
+ Select and maintain high quality sources of supply as well as evaluate existing and new supplier performance.
+ Advise appropriate departments of changes in raw material parameters that affect the operation, including prices, lead times, changes to specifications or other as applicable.
+ Resolve communication gaps, manufacturing process problems or delivery delays with Suppliers as they occur. Visits to Supplier sites for issue resolution are rare but may be required as determined by Leadership.
+ Manage purchase order volumes and inventory turns in a manner consistent with Procurement strategy.
+ Maintain clear and concise records of all problems and correspondences for each purchase order.
