Responsibilities
Source and purchase agricultural inputs such as seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, animal feed, tools, machinery, and spare parts.Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and reliability.Place purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services to farms or production sites.Monitor stock levels and coordinate with warehouse or farm managers to avoid shortages or overstocking.Compare prices, prepare quotations, and analyze market trends to achieve cost savings.Ensure all purchased goods meet required agricultural quality and safety standards.Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts, and supplier databases.Work closely with farm managers, a...
