This Buyer role focuses on more than basic purchase order entry and tracking. You will work within an ERP system to manage purchasing and inventory workflows, support the transition to a new ERP platform, and help improve procurement and inventory control processes in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
+ Create, process, and manage purchase orders within an ERP system, ensuring accuracy and timely execution.
+ Track purchase orders from creation through delivery, resolving discrepancies or delays with suppliers as they arise.
+ Maintain accurate SKU, part number, and inventory data within the ERP environment to support reliable planning and reporting.
+ Support the successful transition to a new ERP platform by learning new processes, validating data, and helping refine purchasing workflows.
