Butchery Manager

Alexandra New World is a proudly family‑owned supermarket serving the Central Otago community.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Butchery Manager to lead our butchery department. This is a hands‑on leadership role combining butchery and management responsibilities. As Butchery Manager, you will lead the day‑to‑day operations of the department.

You'll be joining a close‑knit butchery team of 10, made up of four qualified butchers alongside apprentices, knife hands, packers and students. It's a supportive environment where everyone pitches in, works closely together and takes pride in what they do.

We're happy to discuss rostered days and flexibility to make the role work for the right candidate. Shifts start at 5.00am, with full‑time hours typically ranging from 40‑45 hours per week.
