Job Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the butchery, ensuring efficient and profitable performance.
- Oversee staff scheduling, training, performance management, and team development.
- Manage stock ordering, purchasing, receiving, and inventory control to ensure product availability and minimise wastage.
- Ensure high standards of product quality, merchandising, cleanliness, and customer service.
- Oversee the preparation and dispatch of customer orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Monitor daily cash-ups, expenses, and financial reporting while achieving sales and profitability targets.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years' experience managing a butchery or retail food store.
