Cut, trim, portion, and prepare premium beef cuts for steaks
Ensure proper thickness, weight, and presentation of steak portions
Debone and process beef according to company standards
Inspect meat quality, freshness, marbling, and texture
Prepare specialty steak cuts and marinated products
Operate butcher tools and equipment safely (knives, slicers, saws, grinders)
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in all preparation areas
Properly store and label meat products following food safety standards
Monitor inventory and minimize meat wastage
Coordinate with kitchen or restaurant staff regarding steak requirements
Follow HACCP, food safety, and hygiene procedures at all times
