Business development manager

Description/Synopsis

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying, qualifying and shaping new commercial opportunities across domestic, regional and export markets, for an established Company in the manufacturing/agriculture sector. This role will partner with Export, Supply Chain, Processing and Marketing, working closely with the Sales team to convert opportunities into revenue.

Minimum Requirements Degree or diploma in Business, Sales, Marketing, or similar 5 – 7 years’ experience in new business development, sales, or key account management, specifically within manufacturing, production, agriculture, processing, timber, construction or related sectors Knowledge of B2 B client acquisition, buying behaviour, customer requirements, and competitor dynamics in industrial markets Understanding of pricing fundamentals, cost-to-serve, margin logic, and product positioning Proven track record in meeting revenue and growth targets, and “closing” deals Negotia...
