Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the rail, mining, industrial and engineering sectors.
- Generate qualified leads through cold calling, networking, referrals and market research.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
- Conduct client visits, product presentations and technical sales meetings.
- Prepare quotations, proposals and tender submissions.
- Negotiate commercial agreements and close sales opportunities.
- Promote the full range of Surtees Railway Supplies and Engineering products and services.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activity and upcoming projects to identify new opportunities.
- Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and CRM database.
