JOB TITLE: Building Custodian/Janitor/Light Maintenance

LOCATION: Nome

POSITION STATUS: Emergency, Part-time (6 hours a day Mon-Fri)

EXEMPT STATUS: Non-exempt

PAY SCALE GRADE: 7-8-9 or ($29.14 to $51.09 DOE) (depending on duties)

REPORTS TO: Maintenances Director

BRIEF SUMMARY OF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Maintain a professional attitude, be responsible, dependable and demonstrate a commitment to excellence.
2. Responsible for cleaning the Kawerak offices and outside area.

DAILY

Clean toilets inside and out, empty sanitary disposal boxes nightly, clean sinks and counters. Sweep and mop in bathrooms and staircases, restock toilet paper dispensers, toilet seat covers, wipe down bathroom walls and stalls when needed. Vacuum - pay particular attention to high traffic areas,...
