Budget Technician

Summary The position is located within the Budget Section of the Financial Management Service at the VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System (GLA). This position provide Budget Technical services at the WLA campus Responsibilities The Budget Technician is responsible for maintenance of fund control point ceilings for the numerous accounts within the Medical Services, Medical Administration and Medical Facilities appropriations. Establishing and/or changing fund control points within the Financial Management System (FMS), and integrated Funds Distribution, Control point Activity, Accounts and Procurement (IFCAP) System. Inputting fund control point ceilings and loading additional ceilings on quarterly basis and/or as additional funds are received. Reconciling manual records of ceilings with the FMS Status of allowance and the AACS monthly.
