Brake Press Operator

Eventscape has an exciting opportunity for a Brake Press Operator to join our fabrication team. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, experience with CNC machines, and the ability to read blueprints.

You must reside in the Greater Toronto Area and have a valid work permit.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This position will:

• read and interpret engineering drawings with emphasis on dimensions and perspectives
• determine and plan the sequence of operations
• follow verbal and written instructions of numerical dimensions and tolerances
• set up, operate, and maintainmachiningtools
• load and unload material
• alignand adjust punches and dies as required
• lay-out, position, and secure parts and assemblies according to specifications, using straightedge, combination square, calipers, and ruler
